Shortbread Recipe

2 sticks of real butter (softened, room temperature)
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 1/2 Cups of flour
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Find a 7 x 10 inch pan with one inch sides. Cream butter with the sugar, until well-blended.  Add flour.  Put dough into pan, patting into place.  Take a butter knife and sharpen the edges of the dough, smoothing as you go.  Take a table fork and prick the dough up and down in rows.  Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.  Remove from oven.  Take a sharp knife and cut into little rectangles.  Let cool, enjoy.
