The CIT400 or WIP320 look like the best of the bunch because they don’t require computers to operate.
My computer spins down the hard drives after 3 hours and so this means that I couldn’t receive phone calls on some of these. Also what about when I am playing a video game or burning a DVD. I want to be able to receive calls but also I don’t want to either buy dedicated computer to receiving/make calls. The power consumption doesn’t make sense cost wise.
The ones that require a computer could screw up something if your in the middle of a video game or burning a DVD. Some video games take up a lot of RAM and CPU and if I received a call the game could crash or slow down when I don’t want it too. Burning DVDs takes up a lot of CPU and I/O to the hard drives and receiving a call could cause the burning process to fail which would ruin the DVD disc.
