I am going to break this down into two catagories, Base and Specialized. The Base section is a short list of extensions that I think everyone should have. I would consider this my standard load. The Specialized section are extensions that I think are good to have, but not everyone might want to install them because people’s needs will vary.
Base
Specialized
- DownThemAll (Download manager/accelerator)
- Password Exporter
- ScribeFire (Blog authoring tool, previously Performancing)
- Paste Quote (bbcode [quote] )
- Google Calendar Quick Add
- Google Notebook
- Google Browser Sync
- Del.icio.us Bookmarks (better than gmarks)
- Gmarks (google bookmarks sidebar)
- Web Developer
- Sage (RSS reader)
- Foxmarks Bookmark Synch
- FoxyProxy
- Forecastfox (I like the google/ig weather better)
- YubNub Search (Cntrl+K)
- IE Tab (for IE only sites)
- NoScript
- Firefox Extension Backup Extension (similar to google browser sync)
- VideoDownloader (Save online videos)
Did I forget any? Let me know!
Also I do not recommend using all of these at once. Some of them provide duplicate functionality like Gmarks and Del.icio.us Bookmarks, but I have them listed because I find them to be worth mentioning.
