10 reasons why George W. Bush is a bad president

  1. He’s stupid. He can’t talk and is not a good leader. He’s not a role model anyone can look up to. He does not inspire confidence that he is doing a good job or the right thing. Morons and idiots should be barred from public office because they are not able to handle complex tasks such as running the most powerful nation in the world.
  2. He has strong ties to Oil and Gas companies, who think the best solution for becoming less dependant on Foriegn Oil is to invade other countries, spend hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of American lives in a foolhardy task, rather than make a serious investment in next generation fuels.
  3. His enviromental policy sucks. He thinks drilling in Alaska Artic preserve is ok. He thinks less restrictions on pollution is ok. He has made no effort to address the Kyoto treaty.
  4. He vacations alot, which means he is lazy. He expects other people to the job for him. He always looks to blame other people for his mistakes. (Hurricane Katrina)
  5. He is openly Christian and ties his religion too much to his politics. The USA is about equal representation and diversity. We need to work VERY hard on making people other religions feel like they are welcome in our culture. 9/11 and the backlash by anti-western fundamentalists is proof of this. Occupying another nation is NOT the best way to do this.
  6. DMCA and the Patriot Act were responsible for the loss of personal freedoms resulting in corporate America and the federal government perscuting the American people unjustly.
  7. Very, very bad economic policy resulting in a drastic rise of national debt. Privatizing Social Security is a really bad idea. http://zfacts.com/p/318.html
  8. Other countries do not respect him. He is a poor representation of the quality of people who should be leading this nation.
  9. Finially, I think he is a horrible president because he starts things but doesn’t finish them (Afganistan/Bin Laden) and also he makes bad decisions and doesn’t admit to them (Iraq).

    I must put in my 2 cents here. Where is it written a President must always consult with everyone about a war… We may be a country for the people & by the people…but we sure do not have all the knowledge here…what is wrong with the President trying to keep our nation free…free to drive our cars, our boats, our trains, our planes. Everyone wants to have it both ways…no war, no pain, don’t read what is really happenning, keep saying we are trying to be friends with terrorists. What is happening we are erroding our own country. We must do what is right for us not other countries. There are way too many countries out there to please right now. When we were formed as a nation there were only about 20 countries to deal with. Let me see, France, England, Spain, Italy were the big ones. Russia was very busy with war…Finland Norway, Sweden, Mongolia, China, a few others…Netherlands (Holland) Scotland, Whales, etc. lets see a few more…they were too busy with their problems. Austria & all the Persian countries. This country and other countries do not want the Iraq to be free. If the Iraq country died tomorrow…then our gas would go…so here we go…back to horses and wagons? Is that what all the enviromentalists & people against war want? We need oil to make other things other than gas. Oil for heating the Northern/Northeastern states…we could survive here in the South and the West…with wind (if envornmentalists would allow) or solar heating (very expensive setting this up) but maybe environmentalists would give us a tax break big enough to help with bill.
    All these maybe’s surely we will be friends with Veneizula…whatever right? Oh, I am too angry to understand why everyone hates our President so much.

    The President has done more to erode our freedoms than any other president before him. DMCA, NSA spying with the help of ATT, Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act and the list goes on.

    The terrorists all where Sunni from Sadui Arabia, they had nothing to do with Iran. I’m not saying we should be friends with them I dont have a problem with buying Iranian Oil or Saudi Arabia Oil as long as leave us alone. Besides it would only a stop gap until we can reduce our consumption and switch to a different fuel.

    I am not saying the transition from an Oil and Gas to alternative fuels is going to be easy, but our current approach is wrong.

    Please do not think that Iraq is going to save the world from running out of Oil and Gas. They only have 11% of the total known reserves. You also know that they aren’t producing any Oil in Iraq and gas prices aren’t that bad. That is because at the current rate of consumption we could go for 46 years before needing to worry about the Oil and Gas in Iraq. Of course all their oil would only last another 3 years.

    I think I or any other well educated person could have done a 100x better job than him in leading this country. The only thing is I don’t think I could get elected because my dad isn’t a former president who owned his own Oil company and dealt closely with the Bin Laden family.

    Bush never accepts responsibility for anything, and constantly contradicts himself which makes me wonder what does he really believe.
    He claims the economy is the best in history, and says we can’t do better than this. Then he blames the bad economy on Clinton because the economy under Clinton was too good (too many people employed).
    Then he says the good economy of the 1990s was the result of Ronald Reagan. Bush obviously does not listen to what he says.
    Some of the right wing comments I have recently read have said that our economy is somehow dependent on
    having a certain number of people unemployed, because too many people working will destroy the economy. The fact that having several million people unemployed now with the economy in the toilet proves that their statements are not correct. Only the higher incomes are benefiting from what is happening, which is because our jobs were sent to communist China and Mexico. Then Bush wants the remainder of our jobs to be given to anyone besides American workers because the Americans won’t work for less than minimum wage and be subjected to horrible working conditions and no heath care.
    It reall is a shame how the conservatives claim that the country will go to hell if people earn a decent wage and get health care. The tell us to go get an education instead of raising the minimum wage,the claim that we have no right to an education. Then they scream about people getting an education on government assistance programs.
    I have 3 diplomas, two I paid for the education and one the education was paid by the Pell Grant. I cannot find the work I trained for, and can not get a minimum wage job because I am overqualified. Then the right wing says I would have a minimum wage job if I were not overqialified, therefore it is my fault.
    6 years ago I was working an electronics jobs which was outsourced to China. I had received the employee of the month award, and two high impact awards, yet people claim the loss of my job is my fault because I was earning too much and I must not have been doing an adequate jobs.
    We were laid off just 3 days after the company had assured us that our jobs were secure after rumors of lay offs were circulating. So we were lied to.
    Anyone who thinks I am better off now than I was 6 years ago can go to hell!

Just because we hate our president doesn’t mean we should have to move because it’s nice here. There are certain things we like here that we wouldn’t get anywhere else. I mean, the Patriot Act is a violation of our rights and all it is for is so Bush can act like he’s getting terrorists which the weird thing is that he hasn’t gotten any terrorist. The only “terrorist” he got was Saddam Hussein and he wasn’t even a threat to us. The person we should have really been going after is Osama Bin Laden but Bush has ADD so he forgot all about Bin Laden. Which I don’t care if Bin Laden is incapacitated right now. That isn’t the point. The point is that he started a war so we could get Bin Laden for attacking on 9/11 but now he is doing everything but that. You can’t honestly say that he is doing a good job when everything he is doing seems to be violating our Natural Rights or our freedom. He isn’t trying to protect our freedom, he doesn’t honestly even give a fuck about our freedom. The one thing that I did find wrong with this list is that because he is a bad speaker that must mean he’s a bad president. Just because someone is a bad speaker doesn’t mean they’re a bad president. It just means that they speak louder with actions than words. The reason our oil is going up is because we got into this war so the oil companies found it to be of great opportunity to fuck Americans out of a paycheck so they could put money into their own pockets. I’m not saying anything is wrong with earning money but it’s wrong when you’re trying to build a monopoly when there’s so much oil in America that we shouldn’t be paying like anything for oil.
