I like the Archos better, but the new ipod is cheaper and it is looking like you can buy TV shows online which I think is a great idea. That concept is even more revolutionary than the video feature. It will be amazing when the TV corp exec’s actually think outside of the box and start offering their content on devices other than your local cable company and or satellite provider.

Sources familiar with the thinking at rivals NBC and CBS said those networks have talked to Apple about providing content, but that the $1.99 price tag was too low.

Both networks declined to comment specifically about Apple, although an NBC spokeswoman did say in a statement that NBC “is having conversations with many top players.”

Looks like Apple is having some trouble convincing corp-exe’s to buy off on their idea.
